The United Methodist Neighborhood Centers of Memphis operates using a vast network of churches, organizations, and volunteers. We are able to make such a considerable impact because we rely on each other to share our resources of time, talent and treasure.
The UMNCM is an organization that relies on donor support to accomplish our ministry goals and serve the people in the best way we know how. We require financial support to provide multiple education, hunger and justice-based ministries, all striving for a better city. Can we count on you to help us continue this great work or serving our neighbors?
With four food pantries scattered about the city, there is no shortage of need for food donations. Bring non-perishable food items to Good Shepherd UMC, and the generous offerings will be distributed according to need.
No matter your interest or skill, we would love to find the perfect volunteer job for you. Believe You Can students need people to read to them and help them with homework. Food pantries and community meals need help delivering, stocking and serving food. Voices for Justice could always use ambassadors to promote and organize their next event. The UMNCM office would appreciate office volunteers on an as-needed basis.
We are so grateful for our Key Women who serve through their local church with food drives, volunteering and financial support.
